Big city trails is about any big city, which is why it purposely doesn’t refer to Dubai in the publication, any child in any big city can relate to the book. The publication is filled with fun activities including colouring, observational and freehand drawing styles, finding alphabets and faces around the city, pattern making, finding shapes and listening to sound around the city.
About the Artist
Khalid Mezaina is an independent artist, designer and illutrator inspired by popular culture, music, Dubai’s ever- evolving landscape and its people. He actively participates in exhibitions, projects and residencies both in the United Arab Emirates and abroad, and facilities workshops for both children and adults. In 2010, Khalid began a personal practice, focussing on illustration, print and surface design.
