A vessel is a receptacle for organising or decorating, used to hold office supplies, flowers, or any other objects. In a set of two, they can be stacked or displayed aside from each other for different displaying options. Vessel is made of a weighty aluminum, the exterior of which is purposefully left uneven to underline the casting process, and allowing each vessel to have a unique texture.”
About the Artist
Omar is a designer with an interest in the relationship between the object and people through time. His passion for the history of objects and traditional processes translates in his designs with the use of natural materials, creating objects that favor simplicity to blend harmoniously in the everyday life.

Exil Collective was created as an invitation to change the way design is perceived in Lebanon and the Middle East.
In order to reach this goal, we put forward a set of guidelines meant to optimise creation, production, and distribution of design objects imagined by local talents and produced by local artisans. These guidelines are meant to direct the designers’ thinking toward local feasibility, waste reduction, and ethical production: context as a guide for creation tailored to local manufacturing.
