About the Brand
Éditions Levantine emerged in a post-Beirut explosion environment, that devastated our studio located in the port area. This tragic event brought forth an urgent need for renewal, transformation, and healing. In response to this context, our studio was born as a symbol of resilience and a collaboration between a group of childhood friends, displaced by circumstance, as a testament to the indomitable spirit of Lebanese people.
By channeling our energy into reviving the port design district and preserving local craftsmanship, we aim to contribute to the restoration and rebuilding of the community, both physically and emotionally.
Our team consists of individuals hailing from diverse backgrounds, some are still in beirut, while others reside abroad. Éditions Levantine serves as a conduit, enabling us to reconnect with our identity, bridging the gap between cultures and fostering a deeper understanding of our collective heritage.
One of our core pillars is our desire to collaborate with local artisans and incorporate millennial know-hows. By partnering with skilled craftsmen, we ensure the preservation and promotion of traditional techniques while infusing them with contemporary relevance.
