About the Brand
NUUKK in 2010, while studying painting, Andrea Hild just wanted to illustrate postcards and calendars and started selling them online. Today unthinkable – but at that time a bed box had to suffice as storage. At the weekends, Andrea was out and about at small handmade markets all over Berlin and after a short time, she was already receiving inquiries from the first shops that wanted to include her products in their range. nuukk grew and soon moved to a small studio in Kreuzberg.
Trade fairs for dealers all over Germany and abroad followed five years later. In 2017 Andrea started working with a workshop for people with disabilities in Berlin, where some of the nuukk items are still lovingly handcrafted, checked for quality and packaged to this day.
