Patchwork Cat
Small scraps were sewn together to make the original artwork and cut onto a sitting cat silhouette. The artwork is sewn together onto the background using the kantha method in lurex thread.
About the Brand
STITCHES AND SCRIPTS started as a collaboration between a sewist and a calligraphy artist creating textile kitschy and quirky textile products using colorful fabrics with bold patterns.
From creating colorful home textile products, the brand has now evolved into making slow fashion. Using scraps from previous projects, the pursuit to create has lead to the Cat Patchwork Art Project which has now extended to a series of greeting cards and the much-awaited 2024 Cat Calendar.
