Waraq is non profit organization based in Beirut, Lebanon. Founded in 2012, it is committed to the support of graphic art practices through education, research, production and publishing.
Waraq’s mission is designed based on a modular approach. By establishing a space, a well equipped print production facility, an educational program, a yearly print celebration event, a permanent print shop and hosting a research lab, Waraq aims to provide emerging and established designers and artists with the resources for the development of both their ideas and outputs rethinking design education, bridging communities and encouraging artistic and cultural discourse.
