Nadine Touma is an artist, writer and filmmaker who lives and works in Beirut. She is also one of the founders of Dar Onboz.

Dar Onboz is an independent publishing house founded in 2006 with the mission of making beautiful books that celebrate the Arabic language. The publishing house has since produced a series of illustrated books, animations, films and songs for babies, children and sometimes even for adults, all of which are pedagogical, driven by aesthetic design and frequently published in colloquial Arabic. Although a publisher, Dar Onboz is really a platform for storytelling, using many forms of contemporary art to retell folklore and fables while also highlighting public service issues.

Lara Assouad Khoury is an independent graphic and type designer with a particular interest in the relation between Arabic and Latin writing systems and multicultural identities. She has researched Arabic writing and typography at the Atelier National de Recherche Typographique in Nancy, France.
